oh my gosh! i am soooooo incredibly giddy and happy right now. :-) i was on the phone with my mom when i got another call and it was my friend shelli from germany! :-)))) gosh i miss her sooooooo much and i love her to death. she's the most wonderful girl. i know i sound like i'm in love. *g* we talked for 2 hours and i talked to her boyfriend as well. he makes her really happy and that's all i have ever wanted for her. he's a really cool guy. i hope to meet him someday when i see shelli again. hopefully this won't be years from now. we had such an interesting phone call! *lol* :-) *sigh* i'm from pennsylvania but i still call germany home. i miss my home.

went to the irish festival today. was looking for a black scarf at the antique stores but gosh there were some ugly colors there. there were some black but they always had some bizarre pattern on them. i need them to wrap my tarot cards in. i went into one shop called 'blue moon'. something about the shop and the lady working there made me feel comfortable in asking her for what i needed AND telling her what i needed it for. she in fact knew all about it. she said she didn't think it had to be black but it had to be made of a natural material like silk. so she keeps hers wrapped in a silk scarf and in a wooden box. so i shall look for black silk and cover all my bases *lol*

i'm just happy right now. *s*
