thank goddess she's ok!! she's OK OK OK! :) i'm so relieved. i called the vet at noon to check on her and he told me that after he knocked her out to remove the front tooth, he was able to get a better look in her mouth. she has periodontal disease and both her back molars were ready to fall right out. he said the nerves/roots were completely dead in them. so he removed those too. he didn't do all the blood tests because he feels that the blood was all coming from those 2 molars in the back. when they brought Puppy out to us she was so alert. it's like she wasn't sick. she's asleep right now and i'm gonna go cuddle with her. i'm just so happy that my baby is ok. she has to take amoxicillin for 7 days to prevent infection. but she's home and we will need to keep an eye on her to make sure nothing else happens. he said the peridontal disease happens alot in small breed dogs and that the teeth being all loosened didn't come from Maggie and her playing tug-of-war. they didn't tell us tho how to prevent any more of her teeth from falling out.
