oh my god. i hate home improvements. i HATE them. hire a professional will be my mantra til the day i freakin' die! it's almost done tho... the floor. then comes paint and wallpaper and border which i still have not decided on. oh and curtains. and we need a new door cause ours is 50 years old i swear and the ugliest thing. but we can't get that at this time. i don't know why they said that laying that laminate floor is so easy. i got two words. FUCK THAT. is not! but oh well. it does look nice. we have 95% of it done and we are taking a break. i want to, tomorrow, go to January's and look at the wallpaper and border stuff. i'm hoping we can return at least one box of this laminate, if not two. it was $70 something a box so that could be my cost for paint and the wallpaper stuff. oh well. i'm so tired and i have had a heat headache all day. it stormed tonight and it's cool out right now. but we had to saw stuff IN the house since it's been raining and we can't keep going back and forth to the garage in the rain. so we had to turn off the fans in the house cause of the saw dust stuff. :( i refuse to turn on the air conditioning yet since the weather is supposed to be in the lower to mid 70's all week.

i need a vacation.
